Finally, a response from Neteller about the questions I posed in the comments on this post a couple of weeks ago.
I’ll try to speak to them next week, but first I wanted to share my email reader’s insight on the matter:

A friend of mine had problems with Neteller. He used them to take payments in the US and to withdraw money here. After working fine for 3 months they decided, without warning or expaination, to do “Fraud Investigation” on his account which locked his account for 3 months, then they charged him $120 “Locked Account management fee” Sounds like a quality company huh.
I am facing the similar issue, they have locked the for more than 3 weeks now, its been exchange of more than 12 emails to them, several of them contains my pictures of me holding passport in every possible position!! Still no action from them, stupid responses as always, one of them carried this in reply to my passport image sent – “Unfortunately we could not accept the image you provide us by reason of the identity document you provided could not be verified against our document resources”. What does this even mean, that we manufacture the passport at home?
Tired of all this, I am going to file a legal complaint at the digital wing of Police department in my country, already spoken with an officer there.
